New Mac mini revealed!

The image of new Mac mini with iPod dock is revealed.

iPod のドックを備えた新しい Mac mini が公表された。

Breathtaking new design features, among other things, a retractable sliding tray for iPod dock, which enables smooth connection for iPods.

格好いいデザインの中で、とくに目を引くのは、iPod を簡単に収納できるよう設計されたスライド式のドックだ。

Retaining the original sleek form factor, slightly larger footprint hints the added internal functionality, under the hood, for TV viewing and recording.

元の優雅なデザインを尊重しつつ、少し幅が大きくなっているが、これはチューナーやレコーダーなどテレビ接続機能が充実していることを窺わせる。

This fantastic design is the fruits of the collaboration of Mr. Isamu Sanada, with MacFan, Japanese Macintosh magazine, for dream project of “Apple products in near-future.”

このすばらしデザインは、Applele 新種林檎研究所の真田勇氏が「マックファン」２月号の「アップル新製品近未来予想図」ために描き上げたものだ。

Mr. Sanada is world renowned for his magic hand, which turns a dream of Mac aficionados into reality.  Mac mini is the new addition to his site, Applele.com, abundant with all the dream arts of Apple related products.

マックファンの夢を現実のものにする真田氏の腕前は世界的に有名だが、Applele 新種林檎研究所にまたひとつすばらしいデザインが加わった。

This new Mac mini, if released by Apple,  is really a must-have item for Mac lovers.  What do you think?

インテルマックの予想図

もうぼつぼつインテルマックの予想図がネットに登場してもいい頃だ。

ビデオ iPod のときは凄かった。流出画像（と称するもの）やコンセプトモデルまで合わせるとたいした数で、なかなかよく出来たものもあって楽しかった。

今回の MWSF は、インテルマック登場という画期的なイベントなのに、あまり画像が出回らないのが寂しい。

そんな中でひとり気を吐いているのがApplele 新種林檎研究所の真田勇氏だ。発売されたばかりの「マックファン」に登場する氏のデザインの数々はすばらしい。

特に、iPod nano のドックを備えた Mac mini の予想図は、斯界（しかい）初めてではないだろうか。（雑誌を買って見よう！）

こんなデザインや予想図がどんどん出てきてほしいと思う。

iTablet – handheld monitor for video iPod

実際にビデオ iPod を手にしてみるとスクリーンがいかにも小さい。

Wow, crisp colors, but screen so small! — That was my first impression, with a video iPod in my hand at the store.

ビデオ iPod につないで見ることのできる携帯用モニターが欲しい。

I want a BIG screen, to be hooked to the iPod, larger than Sony PSP, tablet-sized, easily put into briefcase.

でも、こんな特許を申請したのはアップルじゃなかったっけ？

このところ、モニター部分を自由に動かせる新しいノート型も出始めた。

ビデオ iPod オンパレード

１０月１２日の Apple Media Event が近づくにつれて、なにが登場するか、予測が白熱している。

朝日まで記事にするのだから、世界中では推して知るべしだ。「one more thing」でブログを検索すると、あるはあるは、すごい数だ。

真偽のほどは定かでないが、ビデオ iPod のいろいろな画像がネットに流れはじめた。

このぼんやりした写真が嚆矢だ。(Engadget)

これもいいねえ。キャプションが利いている。（The Apple Collection）

なんとこれにはレビュー記事までついている。（iPod Hacks）

こうしてみると、こういう写真は素直すぎる感じだ。（MacTechNews.de）

白眉はトップの写真だろう。・・・もっとも、まったくの想像だと描いた本人はいっているが。（iPod Predictions）

video iPod を肴にしてみんなが楽しんでいる感じだ。

BBC がうっかり（？）ニュースを流したりして、結構期待を煽っている。

もっとも、今回はビデオ iPod ではないという意見も強い。

ハーバード大生のサイト Think Secret によれば、今回は Power Mac や PowerBook が主で、ビデオ iPod は登場しないという。

年末商戦のことを考えれば、たしかに iPod よりマックのテコ入れが必要な時期ではある。

あとしばらくですべてが分かる。もう少しのお楽しみだ。
